The city of Midori boasts an expansive archive of reading material; scrolls, books, scraps of parchment, all is kept inside the library. This is kept open at all times of the day, that they are available, by the book keeper. The building itself is quite impressive, large and sprawling. Sitting two stories high the bookshelves themselves show the signs of age and knowledge held within them. Situated on the North West side of the city, any and all are welcome here, provided the books are left undamaged.

A place to steer clear of during both day and night, a prime location for thieves and the lower end of the population to be prominent. Though if you know your way around, the alleys are a quick way around the city in time of need.

The smell and heat told of hard labor, the sign outside of the wooden doors telling of the Blacksmiths shop. A dirt-covered ground was strewn with hay, hanging on the walls an assortment of weapons that were crafted with a gifted hand for the art of fighting. The shop served as the town’s weaponry and armory as they had no need for it with the skills of the smith inside the shop. Currently no apprentice shadowed their frame as they worked skillfully and for a decent price as well.

In the northern-most part of this small village, stands a castle of stone that easily peaked over the tops of many shops and homes. It’s towers stood tall and gates wrought iron that could hold a decent amount of it’s own. This is where the leaders of the village, the High Council, rule over the village of Midori. Made up of both male and female they did their best to judge what should be done for every crisis that so far had befallen the city. Occasionally there are balls where most middle and noblemen classes are welcome; for if they’re we’re only the rich there would be few, though the poor are banned from entering unless there is good cause.

Leading from the entrance to this large city was the road which was connected to everything and you could get anywhere from here; if you knew the side streets anyways. It slowly curved through Midori and out of the cities borders until it came to the outskirts of Lerieal; usually lined with small stalls that held an array of different things within the city. These being the shops that some opened when they did not have the money to make a shop of their own.

The sounds of various animals, mostly different types of horses, came from within the large structure that sat at the south-western side of the city. Entering there was an open doorway off to the side where the stable hands or head hand would be if you needed assistance with an animal. Animals could be bought or “rented” you could say for a price and ridden out in the fields freely and brought back within a specified time.

The Sunrise Tavern is a cozy place that is welcome to any and every kind of persons. The main room is large and takes up more than two-thirds of the inn space on ground level and is isolated from the storage by a bar for the drinking type. In the west corner, along the same wall as a stone earthed fireplace are winding stairs leading up to the rooms open to rent for any amount of nights at the right price. The tavern gets it’s name because of the rooms that are perfectly positioned to catch the sunrise as well as the sunset, depending on which side of the building you are located.

Blocked off by a portion of trees that extended from Lerieal’s borders, a cliff hanging jutted off into the air to drop almost vertically down and into a large lake at the bottom. A waterfall also plunged from the height, mist coming from the falls to spread over the lake’s surface and most of the lower foliage that surrounded the lake.

Near the falls of Angels Peak, hidden among the small overhangs and outcroppings of the mountains side that shelters the eastern border, are rumored to be several caves that supposedly once were homes of the mythical creatures known as dragons. Though in truth, they are actually entrances to winding tunnels that go deep inside the cliffs of the mountain range and are homes to the legendary Skylarae.

A clearing that lays in the midst of the forest that seems not any different from any other clearing amongst the forest floor. Though hidden among the twisted branches and roots of this particular clearing were small alcoves that houses hundreds of small creatures such as the faeries. On certain nights grand parties would be held as others were invited, a human rare among their company- though not banned.

In the north of the forest of Lerieal, the only opening between the forest and the mountains that protects Midori, lay the fields that a once epic battle took place. The only battle between the few of Midori and the many of the Tsae when the first accusations started. Where the fields lie is where the rest of Leriel used to grow, a fierce fire taking the portion that now lay overgrown by wild grass and the occasional tree that protects from the harsh rays of the sun.

The dark forest of Lerieal begins at the outskirts of the fields that surround the paths leading out of the village. Mosses and leaves cover the damp ground, ancient oaks and pines growing so closely together that the worn dirt path can seem to be lost amongst it. Thin beams of light manage to break through the canopy of leaves over-head casting a soft glow amongst the misty floor. This place is known for the strange animals it houses. Be careful not to get lost...

A large, old tree that was situated in one of the deepest parts of Lerieal stood the tallest and broadest tree of them all, this being the stronghold of the highest of elves. Being the leaders of their race amongst the group that has begun to stand up to both forces of this war. Staircases that were hidden amongst the foliage start a ways up, easy access to any elven. Windows were carved out and a soft glow would emit from them when not covered by curtains of some sort. The bark held many carvings in elven that spoke of their history in this world, secrets that were kept by their own people. The surrounding trees that were connecting by wooden bridges housing a number of lower elves that choose not to stay within the city and would rather stay in the forest..

In the murky depths of the lake that lay not to far from lay the city of the water tribe called the Misuei. Camouflaged by magic this city is within the earth itself, one having to follow a series of under-water tunnels to come up and find the city within a large cavern. It is unknown the length of time the city has been there and yet one knows it’s existence from lore and vague whisperings from the Misuei themselves.
